Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise is a popular American writer, singer and actress, best known for her role as Ginger Grant in the 1960s television show Gilligan's Island. Tina Louise began her acting career in stage shows during the 1950s beginning with Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. Then she performed in a variety of Broadway productions before making it huge in the national theater area with Li'l abner's in 1957. Her first music album It's Time for Tina in the same year. Louise's first foray in Hollywood was in the role of Griselda on God's Little Acre, a 1958 romantic drama. The film garnered wide applause. Louise won the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the year category. In the years prior to this, she studied at the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her teacher. The actress joined CBS for the role of Ginger Grant. Louise did a great task of switching between Broadway and Hollywood.
