Tessa Thompson

The actor Tessa Lynn Thompson was born on the 3rd of October 1983, in Los Angeles, California. Thompson is the daughter and grandaughter of singer Marc Anthony Thompson, as in addition to actor Bobby Ramos. Her family was born as a child in Los Angeles before moving to Brooklyn, New York. Her mother is Mexican as well as British Isles roots, while her father is an Afro-Panamanian. Thompson was a student at Santa Monica High School where she took part in a variety of theatre productions. After graduating, she attended college at Santa Monica College, where she graduated with a certificate in the field of cultural anthropology. As Juliet her character, she performed in William Shakespeare's play "Romeo and Juliet" at a Pasadena California production at the Boston Court Theatre.
