Loren Gray

Gray's peers influenced her embark on a journey of social media, and she went on to have more success than them. Her success was so great on the app that her mum downloaded it just to keep an eye on her. Loren's acclaim on musical.ly expanded to other social networks. Gray's videos were compiled on YouTube by random users that reacted. Gray was amazed by the attention she received however, some of her friends weren't so happy. Instead of embracing her new venture, they turned on her. A few of her friends wiped their Facebook accounts and began attacking her. Loren spoke out in an UPROXX UPROXX: "They'd write terrible things about me, like I don't possess the talent or skills, and that I'm a jerk and have been coached. I was albino, I was anorexic. Some people were saying that they were likely to take me over and I was in the school's bathroom phone call my mom and telling her I was scared." Loren's mother was concerned for Loren's mental wellbeing and decided to keep her out of the school. It was difficult for her to observe her daughter suffer in her school because of other students. UPROXX received a call from the mother.
