Cheryl Hines

Cheryl Ruth Hines grew up near Tallahassee near Tallahassee in Florida. Her birthplace was in Miami Beach on September 21 1964. She was the daughter of Rosemary (Graham), and James Hines. She attended West Virginia University as well as Florida State University before graduating from the University of Central Florida. While studying theatre and television production in Los Angeles, she realized that the art of comedy was something she actually knew about only when her studies at that university. Lisa Kudrow was her first teacher. Additionally, she learned to write and perform comedy sketches. This experience helped make her ready for the role as Larry David's spouse on HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm (2000). Because dialogue is made up in comedies that deal with situations, she's at home. Groundlings Theater is where she performs. Groundlings Theater is where she plays when time allows.
